IDEA Space
Policies
The IDEA Space in the Library is an idea laboratory that encourages and facilitates interdisciplinary projects among students, faculty, and staff. It is located on the first floor, seats up to 24 people, and is ideal for collaborative classes or team meetings. The Space includes a touchscreen Viz Wall with personal device projects or built-in browser option, plus annotation tools. The Space also includes a Collaboration Station for projecting your own device, dry erase boards, and a Messy Cart with supplies for rapid prototyping. Partitions available to create classroom-like space.
- IDEA Space reservations are made on a case-by-case basis. Only faculty and staff from Loyola University Maryland or Notre Dame of Maryland University can reserve the space.
- The space is available for general use when not reserved.
- Food/Catered Events are allowed in all parts of the building; however, Event organizers are responsible for proper disposal of food trash.
The IDEA Space is available for reservation during regular semester hours.
